Still have some questions?

General
Yes, you can Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) as phones purchased in Canada are compatible with our service if they are unlocked. However, phones purchased in countries other than Canada may be incompatible with the Canadian telecom networks. For best results, we recommend purchasing phones in Canada rather than having to deal with possible incompatibility issues.
We operate with no contracts and your service is billed month-to-month. If you receive monthly discounts on a new phone plan you may owe a balance if you change service providers.
Canadian mobile phone plans are expensive when compared to most other Countries. SaveMobility reduces this discrepancy by leveraging its buying power and creating efficiencies for our telecom carrier partners, these efficiencies are passed on as savings to our Members.
We help consumers and small business owners get a better deal by using a buying group that manages your account and negotiates better terms from service providers than you can get on your own.
Traditional mobile phone service providers prefer high value consumers where they can charge top dollar for phones and services or high-volume corporations where they cut prices in return for selling in bulk to a single customer.
By selling in bulk to a buying group or telecom expense manager a service provider offers lower prices because:
1. Instead of the service provider taking a financial risk on a new customer the buying group assumes the financial risk of its customers. The buying group is responsible to the service provider for all your payments.
2. The buying group manages invoices. This means less work for the service provider as they provide bulk billing. This allows the buying group to review bills for errors and other billing issues before you receive your invoice. Whenever there are issues the buying group works on your behalf with the service provider. This saves you time and the service provider requires less support as they deal with the buying group.
3. You can go to the buying group for any issues and they will deal with the service provider on your behalf. This simplifies support for you and the service provider.
Finally the buying group reviews its contracts to ensure it is giving its customers best value. Over the past four years our Members received monthly Plan reductions and feature enhancements on two separate occasions.
Imagine your monthly phone bill going down without having to call anyone. Then imagine it happening again.
To be a Member of the buying group you need to be invited as the buying group takes on a financial and operating risk with each new customer.
You may receive a monthly discount when you switch to SAVE from a non-Rogers service provider or are a new customer as well as a discount on the price of new phones. The amount of the discounts depend on the plan you choose and the phone you purchase. Please contact us at support@savemobility.com to find out what the current offers are.
All SaveMobility wireless plans currently operate on the Rogers 5G network. You receive the exact same premium service as any other Rogers customer in Canada.
SaveMobility is a buying group operated by Sydian Group International Inc a Canadian company with a 30 year history in the Canadian telecom industry. Sydian previously created a successful telecom buying group for large corporations and with the proliferation of mobile phone options Sydian has expanded its buying group to include small businesses and associations. The goal is to offer competitive mobile phone plans that are affordable and easy to understand.
SaveMobility operates as a buying group (also called a telecom expense manager). SaveMobility negotiates with mobile phone service providers as a single group which means the more customers in our group the more purchasing power the group has and the more savings you receive. We regularly review mobile phone plans and negotiate improved rates and terms based on the market. The group works hard to ensure your mobile phone rates go down instead of up.
Savings
Our $0 Phone combined with Plan packages are available without the large upfront expense involved in purchasing a phone. Over the past 17 years the SaveMobility program has delivered savings of 20-50% monthly for our Membership. In addition, SaveMobility periodically renegotiates telecom contracts to ensure our Members are always receiving the least cost network prices available in Canada.
Billing & Payment
You receive an electronic invoice once a month outlining your total usage and cost for the month. Your individual invoice is emailed the last week of each month.
Your invoice includes any additional charges (i.e. Roam Like Home and other international calling roaming travel packs etc.) and the total amount owed including the Membership fee paid to the buying group. All plan prices quoted to you, include the Membership fee which is shown separately in the invoice.
The electronic invoice consists of two parts:
1. A summary page which includes all Rogers charges along with any adjustments and the buying group management fee.
2. Details of the Rogers charges for your plan(s).
The invoice total amount due for payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account with a pre-authorized debit (PAD) transaction 5 days after the electronic bill is sent to you.
The most popular payment method accepted by the buying group is pre-authorized debits (PADs). PADs are a convenient way to pay bills and make other payments automatically. Instead of sending a payment, you authorize SaveMobility to withdraw the amount owing on your bill from your bank account using a PAD.
When you sign up you receive a welcome email from the buying group manager SaveMobility with the details of the billing process including receipt of your Canadian banking information. This information is retained in your account profile for monthly PAD withdrawal payments of your Rogers charges.
Paying by PADs helps keep the monthly costs down as much as possible for our buying group. Detailed information about PADs is available from the Payment Canada Pre-Authorized Debits section.
Mobile phone providers bill one month in advance. They prorate your first invoice when you join and prorate your last invoice when you leave. Your first invoice contains a proration for the current month and charges for the next month that may look a little confusing, however future months are one standard amount in line with your price quotation.
If you have any billing questions or concerns, please contact our Member services team by email to support@savemobility.com.

Phone Plans
No, each phone number requires a separate data plan.
No, you will receive a new Canadian telephone number assignment.
The 10GB, 20GB, 50GB and 100GB plans come with unlimited data. This means you may use as much data as you want without any extra charges. You receive high speed data until you reach your GB limit following which, the speed of your data connection is reduced (to 512kb per second for 10GB and 20GB and to 5MB per second for 50GB and 100GB). The limit is reset at the end of the billing cycle.
Unlimited Plans are very popular with mobile phone customers as they eliminate data overages that can result in additional monthly expense.
Phone Purchases
Rogers has a very strict policy on new phone purchases. You have 15 days to return your phone providing you have not used the phone AND you have not ported your phone number from a previous provider. Once you use the phone OR you transfer your number, we can no longer accept a return of the phone. Defective phones may be exchanged if you get authorization from Rogers technical support.
Our plans offer subsidized financing for phone purchases. You pay $0 upfront plus an increased monthly amount for 36 months, at the end of this term you own the phone at no additional expense. This is a great way to avoid the high upfront payment for a new device and to save up to 40% of the cost of the device. During the 36 month term you may change you data plan as required by your changing needs.
Please note: Due to supply shortages worldwide there may be delivery delays for certain models.
We do not accept trade ins.
Yes, we sell the latest phone models available as well as a range of older models and you can pre-order new unreleased models. Please note that when new models come out we are not able to offer any discount on the phone price for 90 days. Discounts become available 90 days after the new model starts shipping.
Buying a new phone is easy. Navigate to our SaveMobility website, select the phone and accompanying Plan you would like to purchase from the list provided, complete and submit the online form and wait for our confirmation on pricing and delivery schedule.
Depending on the phone you select there may be an upfront payment required.
Please note: Due to supply shortages worldwide there may be delivery delays for certain models.
New phones are normally delivered within a few days of your arrival in Canada.
For the fastest order fulfillment and delivery, select no colour preference on your order.
Additional Service Options
Another special feature of the SaveMobility mobile plans is that you may upgrade or downgrade your data plan at the end of your monthly billing cycle. There is no cost for changing except for one situation which is described below. There is a reasonableness test, meaning if you request a change every month Rogers may decline to change the plan. It is intended to allow you to adjust your data plan as your needs change a few times a year at most.
Changing your data plan does not affect the term commitment for new phone purchases. The date remains the same.
Your new rate will be the current rate for the new plan less any credits you previously had.
Please email support@savemobility.com to request a data plan change.
All of our plans offer unlimited data. Once the max speed data limit is reached in a billing cycle the speed is reduced until the start of the next billing cycle. For 10GB and 20GB plans it is reduced to 512k. For 50 and 100GB plans it is reduced to 5MB
Add On Charges from Other Providers
Device protection plans are monthly charges designed to protect you in the event of a problem with your phone. Most plans require a payment to be made if a repair is required.
Many plans are run by third party providers. If you have an issue you deal with the third party provider and not the service provider. This is an add on sale and profit center for the service provider but responsibility for the service is with the third party provider.
Please check the wording in your plan very carefully before continuing with a device protection plan.
If you are happy with the provider and the terms of repair we can add device protection to your plan.
$0.00. Both are included in all our plans.
Other

No. The Rogers data manager app only works with the consumer billing platform and your device is now on the corporate billing platform.
You can track your data using other alternatives. Many iPhone users use the free My Data Manager app from the App Store to track data usage. There are lots of other free programs that have similar functions.
Android devices have a native capability to track data usage. There are many free data usage trackers for Android if you prefer using something else.
All of our phone data plans have unlimited data plans so there are no data overage charges.

Rogers offers Wifi calling for enabled phones. This allows you to make calls over wifi where you do not have a cellular connection. Wifi calling is included in all SaveMobility Plans where you have a phone capable of Wifi calling.
When using Wifi calling your calls are made as if you are in Canada. If calls are made that would be charged if you were in Canada (eg. international calls) you will be charged for the calls. Also if you are travelling and plan to use Wifi calling to make calls to Canada or to the US (which are included in your regular plan while in Canada) please make sure you turn off cellular data so your phone does not switch between Wifi calling and the local cellular system. Any calls made outside Canada on the local cellular system will be charged usually but not always by charging the daily roaming fee (if applicable).
Before you can use Wifi calling it must be enabled in Canada for service by Rogers. This is done after you receive your new SIM card or device. Once enabled by Rogers you are able to turn Wifi calling on and off with Wifi call enabled phones.
Email the buying group manager SaveMobility support@savemobility.com to have Wifi calling enabled on your devices or if you have any questions. Please provide the telephone number of the device to enable.
